Crafting: The Beginning of the End

This is my very first blog post and I thought I’d start from the very beginning of my crafting obsession.  In the beginning of 2012, my sister gave me a Cricut Expression 2 as a maid of honor gift and that was the dawn of a new hobby for me.  I had so much fun die-cutting shapes out of my Cricut machine, gluing them together and making cards.  I had no idea that my mind was about to be blown during my honeymoon in Costa Rica where I met a lovely lady who opened my eyes to a whole new world of papercrafting by introducing me to stamps, ink pads, ribbons, washi tape, dry/heat embossing, embellishments and so much more.  She made me what I am today – a stamping addict – and I love her for it!

Now I can’t finish this blog post without giving a shout-out to a second crafting mentor I have in my life who lives in New York.  She has been such a fount of information to me and has always provided great guidance in my crafting exploits.  Please check her blog out because she is so talented and such an inspiration!

My first couple of posts will be more informational as I share my trials and errors during my foray into papercrafting and I hope it helps any of you who are interested in entering the world of cardmaking!
