INK PADS

There are several types of ink pads out there – dye, pigment and hybrids.  Since I’m still a beginner, I don’t really feel like I have the expertise to explain the difference other than what I can readily observe – dye inks absorb into paper and lighten as it dries while pigment ink typically sits on top of the paper, the color remains bright and it takes more time to dry.  If you are interested, Jennifer McGuire does a great job explaining the difference between dye and pigment inks.

I’d love to hear your thoughts on any of the above products!  Hope this helps you navigate through the world of inks!  Happy Crafting!
